Default 2014 Limited, help with idle

Ok, as the title says, I've got a 2014 Limited. The only mods are 10" bars which throttle wire was lengthened by the dealership. when I started my bike Monday, the infotainment system didn't come on but did after several cycles of the ignition. Then when I started the bike again, the rpms went up to 2K and wouldn't come down unless I rolled the throttle forward. Let go of throttle and they went back up to 2K. Brought it into the dealership, they put about 4 hrs diagnostic into it but couldn't get it to do this again. This happened once before to this bike and they couldn't figure it out then either. Any ideas or others that have had this issue? I picked the bike up today and rode it home with no issues

Default my 2003 also did this

my 03 did this on occasion, usually when i didnt wait for the fuel pump up, it would idle way up over 2 grand even driving down the road and come to a stop it would still idle way up there, I would turn the bike off wait for fuel pressure light restart and it would be fine, I have never had this happen on my 2009. not sure if its like yours but mine would do this cpl times a year if i started it too quick

How do you shut off the bike? If you use the "kill switch" you may have the throttle open slightly when you do so. This will cause a "memory" condition that can cause what you are describing. Use the ignition switch to tune the bike off and this won't happen.

I usually use the ignition but I think if I remember correctly, I may have used the kill switch. How would it then reset?
