While on our yearly "big ride" back in 09 or 10, we stopped at a fur shop just outside of Taos. I bought a black, long haired, full sheep skin. Took it out to the where the bike was parked in the parking lot and commenced to customizing it. Trimmed off the legs and shaped it a little, cut a hole for the back rest. It isn't fitted other than that, always stays in place, is ugly as a 90 year old stripper, but works really well. (seems like it makes the GoldWingers a little more friendly as well! )

I've had decent results from Alaska leather sheep skin pads. They are an improvement over having nothing. As far as preventing monkey butt the Harley circulator seat pads are far and away much better.

I bought a long haired sheep skin pelt off the Internet auction site for 20.00. I made sure it was big enough to fit my stock seat. I cut it, my wife sowed 4 elastic 1"bands on it so it fits like a slip cover. Fits great and keeps my shorts dry in the hot Summer and warm in the winter. I love it and a really cheap solution. You can even Rit Dye if you get the Whiteish hair to your desired color. DO NOT spend big bucks, it's easy and cheap to make it yourself.

Here is another option for a vendor. I love mine, cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

I purchased mine from Overland Sheepskin. I went with the full size unsheared and was more than enough to cover the seat. There pelts were the best I have seen, good price and shipped fast. I really don't care about the looks on a 700 mile day. It's all about the comfort. I will say it does sit you up about an inch.

Another vote for Alaskanleather. Good prices and GREAT customer service. Full pelt, long hair. Very happy with it and much cheaper than a new seat.
