Even the Harley Premium Hand adjustable provide a much more planted feeling than the standard air shocks.
+1
Anyone compare hd Premiums with aftermarkets? I am impressed with the HD premiums so not changing at the moment.

And yes, those are some pretty shocks. They are described as 2 stage etc - is that a separated or emulsified system?

I will add that my dealings with Howard have been professional and courteous. His thoroughness and follow up sets the standard. He does provide tracking.
The 13" PA shocks have 3.5" of travel so I don't see how those shocks could be anything but emulsion style to achieve that stroke in that length.

They are not much more than progressive shocks, but they ride so much better, also if going 2 up through twisties these shocks really keep the back of the bike firmly planted and very stable.
Very easy to adjust and lifetime warranty.

It is amazing what advanced suspension components can do. After a while the dramatic difference just becomes the norm. You forget how it used to work. Glad you like yours.
Just a word about Howard. He's a New Jersey guy. His demeanor may not appeal to everyone but he really is a sincere guy who knows whatever there is to know about suspension. He'll never try to upsell you something you don't need and he will support his product as well as anyone could expect. He really is a great resource and a decent guy.

I'm not sure what you mean. Are the shocks you refer to (PA) the one's the OP has?

I didn't see the specs other than the lengths available.

That said, my guess was emulsified as well.

PA, Pro Action and he doesn't list the specs. The travel is 3.5" on the 13" shocks however.

What springs are you running up front? Just wondering if you had to change those out also.
