Thanks a lot for the write up your shock exp and great cust srvc you got and coming from a guy like you being in the biz your in carry's a lot of weight .
BTW,what was the issue with the initial 12"; shocks, was travel being less on the 1" shorter 12" shock issue and was easily bottoming out ?
Thanks...scott
I didn't want to loose ride height. The air shocks on my bike were 18" and the 12" shocks made it sag in the rear. At the end of the day the 13" shocks had a steeper angle and needed a stiffer spring per Pro-Action.

Glad you are happy with your new shocks. I'm looking at new ones as well.
I think the real problem is you buy a cvo and still have to buy quality shocks! HD needs to get their heads out of their asses and put them on from the factory. A motorcycle costing more than a car should not require upgrading the suspension.
I have a Road King CVO and the rear suspension is horrible, i follow this thread and other also, our riding season is almost over here but next spring i'm going to domsomething about it, i watch Pro - Action and Ohlins, leaning more for Pro -Action right now
First class operation! I have had mine close to a year and have over 10k miles on them. I ride 2up and solo. Both my wife and I love these shocks! Two of my riding buddies also run the PA. Between all of us we have over 30k miles, we have also tried many different shocks out there and we all agree these are the best for our type of riding. The performance and service from George and his team is first class. At my company we call this "ThinkCustomer". Also all three of us have the Ricor intimidators installed up front.

Wich fork spring do you have with your Ricor intiminators ? Stock or Racetech ?
+1
Anyone compare hd Premiums with aftermarkets? I am impressed with the HD premiums so not changing at the moment.
Had to laugh. You would think the air-suspension shocks that were standard on my SG were some cheap Chinese "aftermarket" shocks. I had some HD Dealer bucks to spend so bought the HD Premium Adjustable shocks. It is like night and day. Couldn't be happier. With the old air shocks, I don't know what was worse... hitting a pothole and flying 6" off the seat or crapping my pants while in a fast sweeping turn and having the ***-end squirm like a hyperactive child.....
