Hi everyone
I have a 2010 Ultra Classic Limited with a ABS light on. I found the a broken wire in the wire harness on the left side of the the neck. Fixed that and the light went off for a few seconds and started blinking like its supposed to and then it came back on solid. Checked continuity in the wires from the ABS module to the ABS sensor and it was good. Checked the codes and it said open or shorted wheel sensor. Replaced the ABS front wheel sensor and it worked ABS light blinked just like it supposed to. That was last night, this morning I go out to move the bike and the ABS light stayed on solid. I erased the code/light (front wheel sensor again) with my Power Vision and the light comes right back on. I'm gonna pull the tank off and check for a pinched wire?
Help
Had a similar problem, the ABS wire had pulled out from the connector on the left side of the neck. HD had zip-tied the wire causing stress on the wire/connector when the bars were turned. I reattached the wire and cut the zip-tie and it went away permanently.
Fix the abs light. Evidently my buddies ohm meters test probes where to big. They depressed the tabs in the abs wire connector and it wasn't making contact. Replaced both wire connectors inside the plastic connector and it's fixed.
