Default I need help with ABS.

Hi, I had my rear tire replaced a couple thousand miles ago. Since then, the ABS light will sometimes come on. Other times, it remains off. All the wires appear to be ok. What and how do I check for the cause?

The light comes on while riding and stays on steady?

I'd look to see what codes were thrown.

I'd look over the rear wheel installation, especially on the right side at the ABS sensor to make sure it was installed properly and aligned correctly. Also check that the sensor wire is routed properly and not damaged.

What bike? Year? Model?

If it is covered by the rear brake switch recall, has it been done?

Oops. 2010 flhtk. It's not throwing any codes. Everything looks as it should, at least I think. I'm gonna look closer at the wiring.

2010 FLHRC. When running the DTC test on the speedo ( with run switch in RUN position !) it shows me in the ABS section (b) " no rsp" - anyone knows what that could be ?
ABS light blinking and OFF when riding over 20 mph- tomorrow i will do a test ride to see if the ABS reacts ( on the rear brake of course..)

Loosen the axle nut and make certain the ABS sensor is rotated all the way against the stop tab. If it's not it will not read.

2010 Limited with some stuff

If the ABS light has been on at speed there should be a DTC that you can read.
C1034= Rear wheel sensor open or shorted.

It dosen't take much to break on of the small wires.

“no rsp” appears in the diagnostic tree of the Touring Electronic Diagnostic Manual. This is a copy / paste from the EDM. You really need the whole manual because it jumps from section to section of things to check. PM me for further info on this.

"no rsp" displayed.

See applicable code from other modules. Models not equipped with a Tachometer or ABS will display "no rsp" normally.
If "no rsp" displayed on Odometer on Tachometer equipped vehicle, see 2.4 SPEEDOMETER/TACHOMETER.
If "no rsp" displayed on Odometer on ABS equipped vehicle, see 6.1 ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) GENERAL INFORMATION.

Sounds to me like you put the sensor in back words. Make sure your wires are facing away from the wheel not into the wheel. I've done once before.

Edit: I maybe wrong, I just re-read that you've ridden a couple thousand miles and it comes one and goes off.
