Default speedometer problems

New to the forum been lurking a couple of days now reading on speed sensors and such anyways I have a 2000 Electra glide classic speedo is not working I've changed the speed sensor already and it still does not work, turn signals work but no auto cancel odometer also does not work wondering for ideas or if it could be turn signal module I got a manual coming but it'll be a couple of days radio works but can hear a little static in it that doesn't sound normal but she runs good open to suggestions and thanks in advance

Ihe wires/connector could be damaged on the speed sensor... that sounds like its still the sensor. welcome and good luck!

When I first got my 2001, it had intermittent speedo problems. I finally found that one of the electrical connections inside of the batwing had some corrosion. I pulled the batwing, the undid every plug and cleaned the pins with an electrical contact cleaner. That took care of it.

Look at the wiring inside the fairing.
The wires that go to the gauge.
You will likely observe a dirty,broken or disconnected wire going to speedometer.
