Just came across an issue on my 2011 FLHX. My buddy noticed that the left brake light only comes on when braking or turning; otherwise, it is no illuminated (see picture).
Any ideas where the issue lies? The brake assembly was just replaced end of last year after getting t-boned.
I'm assuming you mean running light - brake light should ONLY come on when braking. If it lights when leaning sound like a contact issue - bulb, wiring connection, ground, or broken wire.

Yes, the running light. I'll try replacing the bulb. Thanks for the input!
It has a duel filament bulb, so it is entirely possible that one of the filaments is burned out.
That would explain why it works as a brake/turn signal light, but not running light.
