wydopn your right its hard to beat a thunderheader 'specialy if you beat the fins in the core out towards the cone just leave a spot on the right side for the sniffer pipe to get in there for dyno work. doing that will get rid of the dip in HP and Torque on the bottom end that t/headers are famous for. we did it to the bosses 117" fat boy and picked up over 20 HP/TQ on the bottom end. Boarzilla is a very good pipe also dont think the fat cat will flow enough for the 103. we just tried one on a build and where disappionted with the results.

Actually the Thunderheader (as much as I love mine!) isn't great for big bore motors (meaning anything over 98"). They actually get a little too restrictive at that level. D&D is probably one of your best choices overall for larger motors.
Thanks for the info guys,......... I have been looking around and looked at the Boarzilla and it dont appear that any of their retailers have it for the 07 models yet. I guess I'll try and contact D&D and see if they have the Boarzilla available.
I lawys like to throw out the Bassani Road Rage in threads like these. From what I have seen they work very well with minimal dip. Probably as loud as a FatCat with similar results. Quality is not as good as D&D, but nothing else is either. I think most people shy away from them for two reasons:
1) Cost
2) Looks
I personally like the looks of them. Sort of industrial looking.
I have read some pretty recent posts on here where people were having problems with their D&D Fatcats comming loose. So what exactly is the problem and is there an easy solution? I've also been looking hard at the Samson Caliber 2into1 sysem since its one of the best looking 2into1 systems that I have seen. I have heard that a few years ago Samson quality was crap but have heard its really good now but dont know anyone with any of the new Samsons. Any opinions on the Caliber exhaust?
I currently run the thunderheader on mine but I am soon to be a supertrapp supermeg owner. the noise just gets old and I'm over the whole throttle in a croud thing. I just love to ride the bike with all the bene's of a 2 into 1 system,.
