I'll throw my vote in for the Supertrapp 2-1 also. It's the only tunable exhaust out there, so you can put the power where you want it or correct a dip or something. And, if you stick with the closed endcap it's relatively quiet.....or throw on an open endcap and it becomes a bit louder.

My second choice would be the Fatcat with the quiet baffle.

I posted earlier and asked if loudness was an issue. I am running Rinehart True Duals on my 103" 07 Ultra, the build is pretty strong, and the pipes are waaaay too loud for me. I have the RB Racing Blackholes on order which are much quieter, but they also make the LSR's which are quite loud. Good looking pipe, and the looks, either you love'em or you hate'em. Do a search of other threads to learn more about them.

My second choice would be the Fatcats, great looking pipes, but again, I wanted something a bit quieter. (I must be getting older, want to hear the stereo at 70mph )

Third choice would have been the Supertrapps, but the tuneability , a selling point, can also be a real pain trying to get dialed in with number of disks, closed or open end cap, etc, but they are quieter than the Fatcats also. Tuneability is not an issue for me as now I am running a DTT tuners, and dont have to deal with flat spots !

I have read some pretty recent posts on here where people were having problems with their D&D Fatcats comming loose. So what exactly is the problem and is there an easy solution? I've also been looking hard at the Samson Caliber 2into1 sysem since its one of the best looking 2into1 systems that I have seen. I have heard that a few years ago Samson quality was crap but have heard its really good now but dont know anyone with any of the new Samsons. Any opinions on the Caliber exhaust?

John
There just aren't that many coming loose, mine is one of them, but, there are thousands of these things out there.
i will either fix mine with heat resistant silicone and a little scuffing up of the matting surfaces or I'll simply drill and insert a stainless steel screw to stop the slipping.
that being said, it is a real nice piece of quality high performance chrome, well worth the cost.
AMS in Fortworth Texas, seems to have the best price, whenever they run a sale (often) it will be $459 plus shipping.

A DTT is not going to tune out an exhaust's weak point, or design weakness......never going to happen. All that DTT is going to do is read the AFR in the head pipes and add/reduce fuel to keep the correct AFR.
