Ive tried searching the archives but didnt find too many answers for what Im looking for. What would be the best performing 2into1 exhaust system for my 07 Ultra with 103" stage II kit. Im looking to increase real world performance. I like the looks of the Samson Caliber 2 into1 system the bestand have heard good things about the Thunderheader and the Rhinehart 2 into 1 as well. I have also heard that the Vance and Hines 2into1 system is a good setup as well. There are just so many choices it gets somewhat confusing at times. My first priority is a top quality system that wont fall apart or crack in a few months and the next would be one that actually produces good numbers and isnt just alot of hype. Any syggestions or real world experience?
I personally have a V&H propipe HS with a competition baffle on my 2006 Street Glide. My father runs the same pipe on his '97 103" Road King. He's had it for at least 5 years now and it looks as good as mine. I don't have any dyno number for you, but I can at least attest to the quality of the chrome and hardware of the V&H exhaust.
Persoanly its hard to beat the thunder header ror perfomance, but will admit there chromes not best but if dont mind heat shields no problem. If looking for quiter cant help there love the rumble my self
