I just changed out the main gear on my '89 FLHTCU. Both the splines of the 5th gear and the drive pulley were damaged, so I'm hunting for a pulley now.
A lot of these sprockets for the FLHTC look like they are very similar, even interchangeable. Can anyone confirm or deny?
I'm kinda in the same boat. Trying to figure out if a pulley from an 06 Heritage will fit the 07 SG rear wheel. I was told the 06 SG wheel would work on the Heritage but not certain about the 07 wheel. The 06 SG has a 70 tooth and the 07 SG changed to a 66 tooth and I'm not sure if the bolt pattern changed any. Anybody have any expertise on this???
The 06/07 rear wheel should be the same,I just put a 70t 1-1/8" pulley off a Dyna on my Airstrike wheel.08 is where the axle and spacers started to change, the pulley should be ok.

That's exactly my thoughts too but I couldn't confirm if the bolt patterns were the same. Finding a front wheel (Airstrike) in an 18" isn't too difficult. Finding the 06-07 rear has been a booger.
The bolt patterns & pulley center hub diameter are the same for '00-'07 Touring. Dynas, Softails, & Sportsters '00- current? Pulley differences are belt width, tooth count & offset.
I know that my 1999 & the 2005 SG wheel I needed to get a spacer with different hub centers. But I have a good friend that has a machine shop that hooked me up with what I needed.
