Does anyone know what makes the rear pulley on 06 dynas unique?Why doesn't a 07 one work. Is it the distance off the wheel? If so can spacers fix it? Or the bolt pattern? If I change wheels will that help selection? I have done most of my work by trial and error, only to find it addressed later in the forums.I do use a wrench for a living so I can deal with beyond bolt-on. I thought I'd get smart and ask before I start yanking stuff off and buying things, this time.I DO know it is a 1 1/8 in belt. 70 tooth i believe, which is common to many other rides. I asked the Chrome Consultant at the local but he was no help. I really dont want to buy a cover or even factory Moco stuff. Not when there are so many wild choices out there. I have checked JP etc. for the guy who has that answer. Theres something unique to 06 and I want to find out what it is. Thats all. I realize I can throw a lot of $$$ at it and there would be solutions

I think it would work BUT. It would change your speed and odometer calibration, you will probably notice the final gear change too. Other then all that I bet it would work fine.
I'm not sure which one is more narrow, the 06 or the 07, but that is the difference. I basically had to get my whole rear end replaced because the bolts on the pulley backed out and f#$%ed up a lot of sh&t back there. The dealer took an 07 off the floor to replace the parts which all fit and were ok untill the actual pulley. He told me there is about an 1/8th to a 1/4" difference in the pulleys, so they ordered a replacement for my 07.
