Default pv engine temp question

running power vision on my 14 street glide, using the engine temp gauge function-what is the normal temp it should be around? Normally mine is reading around 220-270, depending on the air temp. What would be considered to be too hot of an engine temp reading while sitting in traffic on a hot day, 300 plus?

I do't know what really be the max temp before u decide to completely stop to cool it off. but i think i saw somewhere when it get too hot it will shot off . yesterday i put my pv with head temp (not ET= Engine temp) and ve front with ve rear to log them . and my head temp got up 390 at one stop on hot day here . when i checked the log it logs the ET too and it was 237F.

The heat is back in Texas...94 degree temps, I have engine temps of 250 to 260 at 70ish mphs, head temps generally 90 to 100 degrees higher 340 to 350...oil temps 230 to 240, I usually do not look when stopped in traffic, but have seen engine temp at 270 to 280 in stop and go traffic, cools down fast once moving again. 2012 ultra limited with Vance&Hines pro pipe, stage 1 AC, fuel Moto map
