Hard Start when hot

Ok On my 2009 UC changed the Comp for the SE comp had no issues for a year.Guess what started again when hot same issue as before is it possible the SE comp is bad or the Starter would do this. You know the sound like the engine is going threw the frame. So now that I am stressed out I think I hear more ticking noise then usual coming from the engine

Mine never stopped after the comp replacement.. Still does it a year later

Did you look into changing the starter ?

No need to replace the whole starter, just replace the starter clutch.

Welcome to my world. Starts fine when cold, ride engine warms up wants to geind to death before restarting might even puff a little smoke through the air cleaner. Smh...so I put it in gear rock back and forth, squint, wink, fart, and pray it will start without embarrassing me more. I swear my next bike is going to remain stock except for a stage 1 and I'm going to get the extended warranty.

Had same issue with my 07 after 103 Stage II few SE compensators and heavy duty starter but finally installed $$$ ACR made big improvement glad these new motors come with the ACR from the factory.
