should be here in a few days. couldn't take the air shocks anymore. tried all different air pressures to no avail. 190 lbs. got the HD springs since the wife rides alot with me. shes 150. hope its an improvement
Get them on, set the sag, and do some riding two up. Experiment with changing the setting up and down. If you haven't already done it, change the fluid in the forks because you will now notice the front is also lacking. For your combined weight, the HD spring might be a little too stiff. Me and my wife weigh more and it works fine, especially when loaded up for touring. I used to change the setup when riding solo, but found a hassle and just leave as be since we ride together most of the time. For the price, they blow away the stock shocks, no more leaking air, no more leaking oil, no more blown shocks. Enjoy them.

This. Pretty much any time your wife ISN'T on the back, your gonna be unhappy. The HD springs ride like a brick for those of us under the 200 lb mark. Its your call, but if I could change my order, I would opt for the standard weight springs. Just sayin'.
I got the 444s for my 09 Street Glide with the standard springs and they are WAY better than the stock air shocks. I go #210 and the only 2up I do is with my #80 daughter on the back.

Speaking with Progressive last year, asking about HD springs; " A large percentage of our customers that order our HD stuff are unhappy with it."

Yes, I really "screwed the pooch" here too. Ordered 944's HD a couple years ago for my Limited. I'm about 220 and ride alone 99% of the time. At first, I really dug the planted to the ground feeling they provided. However, I soon realized that I did not need the HD springs. The ride was rough and bumps started getting harsh. Almost threw me off once.
All this compunded wight the fact that I installed Monotubes with BOTH spacers! What a moron...
