Default 117" Officially Started!!!!

I just ordered parts for my 117" - So I had to talk about it!!!!! I know I won't be able to sleep for the next few weeks!!!! :-)

I had Wolfgang Grasser in Baytown, TX do a set of heads for me a few months ago - and they have been sitting in the closet waiting on the 117" parts.....

Today I had Wolfgang order me:
S&S crankshaft
117" Jugs and Pistons (11:1 Compression)
New Compensator
a few other odds and ends parts to get the build going....

I am going to use my:
Stock throttle body - he will work it over some
Woods 777 Cam (already in bike) - He said he will use some different rocker arms to get more lift and duration out of this cam - Talking a little over my head here....

That's about it..... Parts should be in by, or a little after, our Memorial Day ride... then maybe around the 1st of June - I'll drop it off to get installed.....

STAY TUNED!!!!

Why did you wait for the riding season to start your build? That's what winters are for.

Good luck with the build. I enjoyed doing my 107" this past winter.

Houston is so blasted hot and humid, I'd rather ride in December than July lol
