I met a guy on a Tail of the Dragon ride back in September that had an 09 CVO RG with a beefed up S&S 124.......with a Super Charger. We're talking stupid fast. He said the HP was in the 190's.
We were up there in the middle of Sept. with "Big Lew" on a CVO get together, that thing's a friggin' Orange Monster.. and he knows how to ride it!

I met him at the Skyway Food Mart in Robbinsville, NC. He and several other guys pulled up and I noticed the Orange Monster right away. It's definitely a conversation piece and "Big Lew" was more than happy to talk about it LOL.
But WTF, man, four and a half months when the dude told you 3-5 WEEKS? I'd have been through the roof. I know he's a one-man show and all, but jaysus...someone tells me 3-5 weeks, I pray for 3 and accept 5...but almost 18 weeks?!?

You're a vastly more patient man than I.
Thanks!!
It did take longer than we first discussed... But some of the delays were on me. I changed from 117 to 124 - so we had to order different parts. HCI took longer on throttle body.... A few other delays.
But, truth be told, he delayed the project some by having several bikes and builds going on.
I will say he was worth the wait. Great guy, builder, and tuner- and stands behind his work 100%.
The dyno sheet looks great and it sounds awesome, great job! Did you ever consider going with a S&S crate motor?? Wonder what the end cost difference would be?

I did consider it.... and I'm not really sure. Some of my cost - not exactly sure how much, was beefing up my primary....
The other advantage of the crate motor is selling the 103.....
I went this route mostly because I could Johnny Cash it - one piece at a time :-)
I had the heads done early last year, then saved more for parts, got some big ticket items, then some small stuff, then saved up for labor..... This way I didn't buy it all at once.
