Any updates however small on this? I currently have an 06 Electra Glide that I had bored out to 98" and am running Andrews 26 cams.
I'm debating on just going up to a 4 5/8 flywheel and using the same cylinder bore to get me to a 113" and have some headwork done to compliment some bigger cams.
Also, i'm from Corpus Christi and don't really trust any of the local engine builders. I was considering either Wolfgang for the next build or Mike Lozano of Lozano Brothers porting.
Keep us updated and any info on your opinions of Wolfgang, my thinking on a build, or anything else would be appreciated.
Not trying to hijack the thread, just trying to get an update and maybe a little info for me on the side.
Hey Texan
Nah, no real updates yet.... I think Wolfgang is a little behind.... I went by there earlier last week, and my bike was a couple days away from getting up on the lift.... I am probably still 3-5 weeks from being complete....
I would say go for it on the 113"!! I don't think you'll regret going bigger :-)
Wolfgang is a great guy to talk to. Very helpful! I'm thinking in a few weeks I'll proof of his reputation

I look forward to seeing your results. Thanks for the update, however little there was to update.
113" just makes sense to me so I don't have to swap cylinders and pistons again. It will eliminate a little bit of money needed to go 117" or 124" and would be plenty for me. My ultra is my touring machine and not a hotrod.
Bike isn't finished.... isn't close - but it's tore down!!! One Step closer!!!
Guy before me had a back ordered part that slowed down the start - but Wolfgang has it tore down.....
He sent my Throttle Body out to have some of the electronics swapped to a 58mm TB..... not sure how long that takes..... He said he will probably split and bore the case next week......
Throttle body should be in this week.... He said he is going to start putting it back together next week.... it might be ready next week.... man o man.... anticipation is making me crazy!!!!
He started up a couple 117's in the shop - both of them had a very nice sound...
TQ and HP will hopefully be in the 130's... we will find out soon!
You will have to change pistons. Even though the bore size is the same, the 113" piston will have the wrist pin location in a different position. If you put a piston designed for a 4" stroke on a 4 5/8" stroke flywheel bad things will happen.
Sorry to hijack for a minute, but couldn't let him go on thinking it would work.
