I watched one scrape the other day, it looked like a weak spring or sprung one let the kickstand drop an inch or so.

Keep an eye on your spring. Scrape it enough and it WILL break.

If you have scrape marks on the kickstand tab that sticks up grab it with a crescent wrench and bend it up more vertically. They get bent down from use.

Boards both side on mine. I bent my kick stand up a tad so it doesn't usually touch. Unless it's uneven pavement.

I will inspect the spring and kickstand, I don't want that to happen!

It is actually more likely that you are scraping the left exhaust where it crosses under the bike.

I always thought I was scraping my kickstand or floorboard when turning left until I saw a picture from one of the guys on the dragon took of me and it showed sparks flying up from the area behind my primary.

Sure enough, went out to the garage and the bottom of my exhaust pipe right where it bends backwards was scraped to hell.

Ok full inspection tomorrow night. I can never find scrapes on the kickstand, and minimal on the floorboards and supports on the left side. I do have scrapes on the right side.
