Over the years of touring bikes ive had 2.5 d&d no baffles on my 07 streetglide-That was realy loud. Then in my last years with the 07 i installed cycle shacks 3 inch with 2 inch baffle and removed packing-that was also loud .Then came the cvo streetglide, tried the cycles shack on it-was as loud as the 07.Added 2-1-2 header from fuel moto, sounded prety good but jerked alot when i floored it.Bought the 4 inch rc component slash-Its louder then the cycle shacks and the midrange is awsome,i wont have to remove the packing in them.Money well spent. Now waiting on fuel moto power vision.
I had them on my 11 SG and now my 15 RGS and love them. I'm not too hung up on sound since I wear earplugs, but aesthetically RC has the best selection of end caps of just about any exhaust manufacturer around.
