Should I get a PC V
Fuel moto power vision. $500. Really offers it's users more than is necessary. Being honest!
But one day I'd like to turn my bike into an airplane. Lol!
With all that said, this is my first tuner and can't compare it to the other ones. I read multiple reviews and nothing bad was said about FM and their products that I could find.
Just note the PC-V does not "re-flash" or "flash" the ECM, rather it bypasses the ECM completely. So the PC-V acts as the bikes ECM. Typically the bikes ECM will sit with stock flash, while the PC-V has the proper tuned flash.

From what I've read, any changes to intake and exhaust would benefit from a PC V. Would what I have done benefit from the tuner or just help the stock tune let the motor breath better?
With slipons and perf K&N filtrer this is what you need if your not planning to do serious perf cams etc type mods and is what i am going to get for my my 09 96" with SE stage 1 AC and slipons when i save enough bucks.
It's a no fuss no muss system that perfs well from what i have read about it online from other people that have it vs cheaper XIEDS that simply richen fuel mixture by x-amount all the time even when not needed which isnt as efficient reducing mpg a bit though does get the job done.
But RC's fuel management system is always monitoring motor's AFR and operation condiotions to always have it running at peak perf for cond the motors seeing at the time weather it be cruising 2up at 70-75mph on interstate or running with the boys for the evening often winding it up
@ WOT going thru the gears to 5k-5,500rpm RC's system will always have the motor's AFR where it belongs not being to lean maikng it run hotter and or detonate or not to rich reducing mpg and perf too which cheaper XIED's cant do.
From what i read i an article about RC's system in a bike mag a while back that rc's system can adj for mild perf cams too though they dont state that in their ad.
Again,if your not going for perf cams this is a great system to go with because it does all the work for you without having to get into tuning yourself which is perfect for guys not going for serious perf mods only going with ex & AC change for better breathing giving you a moderate but still noticeable gain in perf thats a simple 10-15min plug & play install priced at approx $449.

Back then(5 years ago) there was it, TTS and Thundermax which replaces the whole ECM.
It was the cheapest, price wise.
It has been a good tuner and I am still happy with it and will continue to use it.
BTW; it is still being sold and used to this day.
It has not become obsolete as of yet.
