top speed?

hey guys, dont get me wrong, im no speed demon. im here to cruise. im just testing out a new thundermax and pipes, and have noticed that i lost a little on the top end which was surprising to me. i figured id lose off the line and gain on the top. my experience has been the opposite so far. the bike is still dialing itself in so i am still reserving judgement, but so far i am blown away!!! right now on the top, throttle fully pegged its a slow climb to 90 from 80. i suppose there is another 5 or 10 mph in there. hope it gets a tad zippier up there for passing.

Gotta chime in with the rest of the guys...at 50, I'm not quite the demon I was 20 years ago. The 07 RKC does go 80 2 up though. I think I've seen 85 by myself. Also concerned about a ticket etc. Maybe on my road trip to Montana next month, I'll hit a stretch of that Idaho 75 mph and spool it up for a bit.

I run with traffic at 80 mph all the time. I took it to 100 mph after the stage 1 upgrade to see the response. It ramped up to speed quickly and that was in 6th. However, I must say I don't think the suspension is designed for that kind of speed. It did not seem very secure at 100 mph, but it was a little windy.

..had the TC 88, basically stage I,at 110 last time I looked down at speedo..probably 115 when I let off..felt like it had a little left.
