Everyone sorry for no updates. I did a good bit on little stuff over the weekend. If I'm able I'll roll it out and snap a few pics of where I'm at. Nothing major but got a lot of stuff removed and its sliming down and looking nice for when I start the front end this week. I'll work on some pics this afternoon. From page 1 to now it's looking good in my opinion.

Want to get some feedback on rear kits. Saddle bags, rear fender, side fairings. I was looking at bad dad but open to anything else. I'll be ready to order rear end stuff after this week is over and front is done. I saw some nice kits on eBay at great pricing but I hate to short cut bags and fender when I've done everything else top notch. Let me know what you guys thing on that. Thx. One thing about top shelf or bad dad they are a bolt on and true rear fender. I don't wanna do the lid style. I don't mind having to drill to make holes but I want great quality and something that will hold up. So opinions on rear kits please.
Only other thing left in doing after that is bars. Gonna go with 12" apes. Found a kit from hill country custom cycles that is prewired and has everything in kit. If you guys recommend something else let me know feedback on that as well. Thx for any advice and input. I've done a lot of work on all my bikes but this is my first touring bike and I want it right.

Not much left to do now but I will black powder coat the engine guards, replace the OEM bars with some black ones that are up and back a bit, fit a 6 gallon tank and remote mounted oil filter to finish up the look. I am much more into performance modifications than lots of chrome, big fat tires, stereos, custom bags, etc.
Sweet bike man!

Main parts I'm waiting on have been back ordered. Pikard says I should have my trees by fri. All other parts are in but that and that's the starting point. Here's a helpful tip for anyone doing this also. The factory calipers won't fit on most of these wrapped fenders. Comes up about a 1/4" too tall from the rear mounting tab on front fender. So I had to overnight pm chrome calipers. Glad I did though. Had intentions on using stock ones since this project has been so pricey and replace them later but no choice when fitting fender today prior to painting. I'll be happy with everything being chromed now though. Here's a pic on the front fender. Scheduled to get everything in between fri and Monday and will post as I go.
