Whats the big deal with a se a/c ? It seems to me that you could put a k&n filter in your stock a/c, and cut more slots in the black plastic piece or drill several holes in it ( there is only 2 or 3 square holes towards the front ). It should flow just as good, and if done right the holes would not be that noticeable.

yeah, that'll work. but for about 35 dollars more than the filter you can do it right..... plus you would then have the option of going with the round cover vs. the stock football, or you can switch back and forth as the mood strikes... your dime. you spent 20k on your bike, whats another 35 bucks?
