Hey guys I'm new to this forum I got a 2014 street glide I'm installing the rc components air strike intake to match my czar front wheel and rotors need help with the install any of you guys run this and do you have to remove the throttle body bracket and if so tips on how to remove it thanks in advance also ordered the power vision from fuel moto should be here in a few days
Welcome to the HD forums. Punctuation always helps when you post a question here.
What do the installation instructions say about whether or not you need to remove the bracket?
Removing it is easy, loosen the bolt at the front of the tank, remove the bolt near the seat, and prop the tank up in order to get better access to the hex bolts that hold the bracket on.
I didn't have to lift my tank when I added my stage 1..i have all kinds of weird shaped Allen keys so I'm sure I used one of those.. The power vision is a fun tool to have..
The instructions should tell you, it is going to depend on the mounting bracket that comes with the RC if you need to remove the induction module bracket or not.
If you need to, lifting the tank would make it easier, but you can do it without lifting the tank.
