I've used this plug on tubeless MC tires before and they hold up until the next tire replacement. Don't buy into the fear that you should replace it as soon as possible. I've talked to guys who do nothing but change tires day in and day out and told they fight over perfectly good tires punctured by a nail, screw whatever.

I have a '13 RKC and it uses tubes. According to my manual '12 models and newer bikes with profile laced wheels (wire spoke wheels with smooth round rims) use tubless. However the classic uses steel laced wheels so they continued to use tubes. Therefore, I would think yours has tubes as well unless someone changed the rims. Concerning the tubeless rims, this is directly from the manual: "These rims are unique and identified by the letters MTM and the word TUBELESS etched into the rim." Do not go by what the tires say because they may say tubeless (mine do), check the rim itself.
