Default Tire cupping

As the title suggests,
How many of y'all have it. And what do you do about it? I've had it and I didn't know how to fix it. Is it always only on the back tire or have you had it on the front? Let's discuss!!!

"They all do that" ... Don't you just hate that saying? About the only thing you can do is be sure that it's properly inflates and balanced ... and find more "curvy" roads.

Both front and rear cup on me. I never really notice it in ride feel on the rear. I usually feel the need to replace my tires prior to them wearing out due to the front tire rumble strip feeling due to the cupping.

Not just an HD Thing, I had the same issue with the metrics I have owned in the past.

My stock rear cupped really bad. I went with a different brand (Micheline Commander II) to replace it and it is night and day with ride quality compared to stock.

I had the front tire on my Stratoliner cup pretty badly. Turns out the pressure listed in the manual and the pressure stamped on the tire was off by 5 lbs. Go with what is on the tire! I only had about 7K on that tire and I had to replace it because it wobbled so bad. Wallet burned...lesson learned!

I read somewhere that its an air pressure thing, but who knows. I check my pressures every couple of weeks now just to be sure.

Couple years ago Harley had a recall (not official) on a Dunlop front tire for the touring machines. I can't remember the Dunlop part number but I had the same tire on my Fatboy and they would not replace it....but they would if you had a touring bike. I put the Dunlop replacement back on the front and never had the problem again. I can't remember what caused the cupping but I think it had something to do with the tread pattern.
