maybe offer him less and you will fix/swop the fairing ,might get you more leverage

For a classic not an ultra, that's high especially if it's damaged.

I have the same bike. 11k seams like a good price for the low miles.

Price is high, would even be a bit high for an Ultra.

The rear sprocket on the 2007 can be upgraded to the cushioned rear drive.

I found the cushioned sprocket package on ebay for a good price, and had the independent guy install it for me when he did the rear tire.

Thanks for the replies guys. I went to look at the bike and found it was just too heavy for me. I'm used to a Softail Custom. It's a nice bike but I don't think I can handle the weight. Thanks again for the replies.

If you want to compromise, get a Road King. Touring frame. Bit lighter, still highway comfort.

That is exactly what I'm thinkin'. I went and sat on some Road Kings and believe I can handle one just fine.

That's funny...

69lbs difference.

And the touring chassis feels lighter while riding.

It's the illusion of "all that stuff".

FWIW, the Road King only comes in 5 lbs lighter than the EGC.
