Have a chance to get a 2007 Electraglide Classic. Only has 6600 miles on it. Fairing has a crack in it where bike fell over in the garage. He says he will get it fixed before we do the deal. He's asking 11k. Does that seem like a good price? Other than the fairing it looks pretty mint.

My 07 has been super reliable over the years. The only problems I have had was the wheel bearings and the compensator. I think the bad wheel bearings failed due to overtorque from the assembly process. The compensator it came with was a piece of junk.
If it fell over, I would pull the outer fairing off and check the fairing mounting bracket to make sure they aren't bent or broken.
I ride mine like a old man, I don't hotrod it, so that may help in the reliability. It is also stock down to the air cleaner and exhaust. If it doesn't have cruise control on it already, a factory setup is going to be hard to find. There is a aftermarket company that sells them for $$$$.
Forget you have 6th gear. It is useless until you are around 75mph. I get my best performance and fuel economy on the highway if I keep the motor between 2850-3000 rpm.
I think the price may be a little steep, but with the low mileage, it may be ok.
I have 90000 miles on mine, I have had some issues but I probably would have had some with another year with this many miles guess.
Compensator
Fuel gauge
Faring brackets (fixed myself)
Inner primary gearing & seal
I installed Andrews 26h cams
Boom communication kit w/cb
Cruise control
Lowers
Power commander 5
Grips
Apes
Trailer hitch
About 12 tires or more lol
Lots of smiles. I am keeping it for a long time to come
$11000 U.S. Isn't bad for a garage queen like that. Try yo get it lower though.
I paid that same price for mine last year at the dealer. They were asking 13k! I love it so far! I haven't had any issues but have only put about 6k miles on it since purchased. it had right at 25k on the clock.
I have 86,000 on my 2007 Ultra. I added the Isolated Drive System when I bought it (now standard on later models), and I have had to replace the bearings twice on that, at 7,000 miles and again at 40,000. Other than that, I've replaced the inner primary bearing, stator, and just now the compensator.
It is completely stock, and always serviced by the Harley shop I bought it from. I would say $11,000 is a fair price for a low mileage bike. I got $10,000 trade in for my 2002 Ultra when I bought the current one.
I bought mine 4 years ago for 13, with about 6000 miles, it now has 40 something on it and I never had a problem. I just did a 107 to it with cams and head work not because I needed to but because I wanted to.
Just keep in mind the fairings and bags on these bikes are ABS plastic and not fiberglas so if he's gonna get the crack fixed he better have a good plastic man do the fixing. How big is the crack anyway?
