I have an 03 electra glide with the flhx style dash panel, so it take an 06-07 street glide or road king seat. I really like the look of the mustang wide tripper solo with matching passenger pillon in black with diamond stitching. I currently run a bad lander and love it but im only good for 1-2 hours at a time. 2 hours and my butt is getting the burn pretty good. But I also need something that is good for the wife. Im 210 lbs the wife is 145 ish. I like the down and back of my badlander. Im looking for the style with more comfort. So who has or has tried them?
I have run the wide Mustang seats on a number of recent bikes. I have never been disappointed. IMHO, one of the best long range distance seats on the market.
Edit: I didn't realize when I posted the wide tripper and wide solo were different seats. My experiences have been with the wide solo, and have been excellent. I have not tried the tripper. My apologies.

I had one. Hated it. Girlfriend didn't complain about it but she only spent about 3hrs total on it. That seat made me miserable almost instantly. The guy I sold it to says he loves it though. Best way to find out is just buy it.... Killer looking seat though that's for sure!
I like mine well enough (I have about 12k miles on it), moved me back just like I needed, but the down was more than I needed. Knees are just a touch above my hips and on long rides I get a little sore in the hips. Comfort level is pretty good IMO. I wouldn't mind a version with a little more lip for lower back support.
I've had mine for a 300 miles now, and my butt is numb after an hour. Love the look but hate the comfort. Hopefully it works out better for you, I'm looking for my next seat...
I guess it's going to vary from one person to another, but for me it's the second best change I've made to my Street Glide (stage 1 being the best!). It's thinner and narrower than stock, but the shaping and the firmness of the foam make it more comfortable for me over distance. Because it's narrower, I no longer get pressure on the inside of my thighs which used to result in cramp, and as a bonus my feet are flatter on the floor for pushing the bake backwards. My daughter is my only pillion passenger, and she says the passenger pad is WAY better than stock.
