the code will clear after 50 start cycles ASSUMING the issue has resolved itself or it was a glitch. If it keeps tossing a code it will not self reset.
Taking a battery cable off will clear it too iirc.

BTW clear the code by taking the cable off, take the power commander out, hook it up and ride it.... if the code does not come back, put the PC back in and look for a stored code after you ride it.
My Power Commander 3 was the cause of most of my code issues. After going through 2 of them I ripped it out and am running the stock ECM until I figure out what's going in there next.
