Default Any tips for using iPhone/iPod on an Ultra Limited

I'm looking for an affordable way to play -my- music when my girl and I are on our long rides. We have a 2012 EG Ultra Limited. I've burnt an MP3 CD with 170 or so songs, but the "Random" feature of the audio system is pretty bad (frequent replays). Most of my music is on my iPhone (about 4000 songs) and I'd like to be able to play my playlists. I know I can run an aux cable from the radio to the phone and maybe store the phone in one of the lower compartments, but I want to be able to switch/skip songs (or rather let my girl do it when she wishes). I've seen some small, inexpensive bluetooth play controllers, and I was wondering if anyone had experience with them, or had other ideas.

The best option is probably getting the iPod/iPhone interface kit, but it's pricey, and my next major buys for the bike are to change out the stock shocks and seat.

Get a Bluethooth dongle to plug into your radio aux, pair to you iPhone, let her be the DJ.

Search on Bluetooh and you'll fine a thread about doing this.

My '11 FLHTC is hardwired into a pouch (looks factory) in the saddle bag lid where I keep my old iphone hooked up all the time and use as an ipod. I can control everything with the music from my hand controls.

Update, found it, it is called boom, works awesome....

This is what your looking for. I used this for a good while before I completely upgraded my audio system. Worked like a charm.

I have the exact same. Works amazingly well. Also if you push the button, just once and for a second, it pauses then plays when you push it again. Battery lasts several days.

Yeah...I agree this is the cleanest solution, but it's $400 bucks. Someday, but it's pretty far down on my "Stuff for the bike" list right now.

What do you guys do with the dongle? Do you attach it somewhere or just let it hang? If you want to skip songs what do you do? (My Girl can skip 10 songs before she finds one she likes. Drives me nuts, but she's really nice to me so I put up with it
