I am looking to put some extended bars on my 08 ultra classic. Does anybody have any idea how tall I can go before I have to change out my cables and such. Any information would be helpful.

Just to give you an idea, I installed the KST MAYEM 10 3/4 bars I think their alittle more like 12" bars but, anyways I did replace the clutch cable + 4, extended wires (ran wires in the bars) + 6, cut the green connector and solder wires on TBWand Brake lines were just right

Like others state, and from my experience, 10" bars are pretty much the max. I still had to go +4" on clutch cable (others re-route outside fairing), but don't go for height...go for comfort.

I just picked up a set of 10" Wild1s. Putting them on my 05 electra glide(hopefully next week). I picked up an extended clutch cable. Hoping everything else fits. I have read about plenty of people using stock cables and plenty of others who have to swap cables.
