Last time , we determined that ten inch tall bars will fit with stock cables and wires.
If I were to install these bars, would the cables need to be removed from the fairing to be long enough ?

I have read every post there is on bars and I would tell you that you would be good even with 12" bars for clutch and brake. I know of two road gliders that didn't need wires either. Don't know any that did need extension.
I just put 10" bars on a 2012 FLHTK, changed the clutch cable, Yeah some have done it without changing the cable but some of the routes I've seen didn't look appealing ..... the wires work but they'll need to be re-positioned and connectors end up much closer to the steering head and no where near where they were originally mounted.
I'm doing a 2014 FLHXS right now, waiting on wire extensions for WO577's (12 1/2"). You probably can get away without extension for 10" bars but it would be a PITA to try and reroute wires in order to do so. While waiting, I've pre-fit everything and I'm just going to make it with clutch and brake line rerouting.
