I have both. If you are patient, you can find both bikes at a very reasonable price.
It was hot and humid in Oklahoma City last night with rain about an hour away. I needed to relieve some tension, so I took the Evo softail out for quick a local ride. It was the best hour of my day. I plan on taking a long all day ride this weekend on my twincam RKC. Best of both worlds.
If I had to choose, then the newer, the better. But I sure would miss that Evo softail.
