Default Highway Peg Mounting Problem

I have a set of the Longhorn Offset Dually Highway Pegs as pictured below. They are also in the same position as pictured below. The problem I have is that the right side 'slips' down over a period of time, not loosen but slips. In other words the offset AND the bolt that connects the offset to the clamp both slip to let the offset rotate down. I have tightened the bolt to the point where I don't think it can be tightened anymore. I seem to remember when I had my 06 RKC with the same setup the offsets had notches or locks that won't let them slip. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a 'quick fix' for this? I am thinking of maybe a rubber washer between the offset and the clamp. Any suggestions?

When tightening are you running out of threads on the bolt? IE hitting the shoulder of the bolt before it actually clamps tight?

No it's really tight but over time, as I ride and use the peg, it slowly slips down. I'm talking about like a month or so. Then I need to loosen, readjust and tighten again. It's getting to be a real pain. [:@]

I had the same problem, and did a cold weld to stop it from turning.

The next time it moves take it of the bike and and use a center punch to put some dimples in the clamping area.
