I ordered a seat from Danny Gray 7 weeks ago. Yes 7. My credit card was charged and I have still not taken delivery of my seat. I did not order anything custom or special. Just a plain old buttcrack seat. I have not heard from or received any response to my emails regarding this situation. Has anyone had any negative situations like this with them? I am a little disappointed right now and I emailed them again earlier today.
Did you order direct from Danny Gray? I spoke with them earlier today inquiring about a pillion seat for the wife. Looking for info as the interweb is so ambiguous... She asked who I would be purchasing from and I replied "probably you, why do you ask?". She then stated they don't carry any stock, it would have to be ordered. I find that strange as their products are in stock with so many different vendors. With that said. I purchased my bigseat airhawk on e-bay, and received it 3 days later. I am liking the seat so far.
Yea I ordered it right off their web site. I was emailed an invoice to double check that all the info was correct and I replied that it was all correct. Here I sit 7 weeks later still riding the stock Harley seat and $335 in the hole.
Thanks for all the responses. I understand that there can be busy times and they get backed up and that a quality seat may take longer but I do also believe that 7 weeks is pushing it a bit for something that is not extremely custom. I will be giving them a call next week.
They most likely are. But my seat was already ordered and payed for 7 weeks ago. With today's technology I am sure they could at the very least respond to an email.
