I've been a long time lurker on the forum and finally decided to join. I was looking into having the inner fairing painted on my 2006 Ultra Classic. It's the Black Cherry color.
I noticed that Mutazu has one for sale on eBay for $258. It does give a disclosure that it may not be a match and it may need modification to fit correctly, that scares me.
Mutazu offers many compatible parts at a substantial savings over OEM HD prices. Many members are happy with the fit and finish. I can't recall if anyone has commented on the painted inner. It's a BIG job replacing the inner and problems with fit could/would definitely make it an unpleasant experience ... Hopefully someone will chime in
Check out Paul - he's amazing, and a great price. And if you can be in a place where he's going to be he can swap it out in 45 minutes start to finish.
+1 above. Meet Paul in hotel parking while he on way to Laconia. Perfect match. Normally takes him 45-60 mins with a bone stock inner fairing but mine was 1.5 hrs due to having oil temp gauge and fairing mounted gps.
