I got to give a plug for a Dealer here. RICE LAKE HD in Rice Lake Wisconsin has a deal on their web site that the first sale of the day gets 20% off. Here is the copy from their web site.
"Here at Rice Lake Harley-Davidson we have an all day everyday savings plan....we call it the "DD" or Daily Discount Sale. All you have to do is be the first customer of the day to make a purchase and the first item is 20% off. (walk-ins or phone/credit card purchases)Whatever item is purchased will remain 20% off for the rest of the day. Motorclothes and parts departments are participating, yes, you can get TWO items a day at 20% off!!! (Sale excludes motorcycles"
I was the first caller of the day. They are a dealer for Dead Center Fairing. I just bought a Dead Center Fairing that I have wanted for a long time for 20% off. According to their ad this item is 20% off all day (today)long. You can get whatever options you want. Discount does not include painting. I talked to Brad and told him he may get more calls. today their number is (715) 234-5400 in anyone is interested. Customer service was top notch too
OK, Just got my Dead Center Fairing wired and on the bike. Excellent craftsmanship on this piece. it was also packed very well before it was shipped. Easy instructions for idiot proof wiring ( I needed that!). Went for a short ride, tunes blasting, pretty neat. I am having it and the El Cheapo Pak painted to match the bike' Sunglo Blueand addingSilver Flames to the fairing and pak. Wanted to put a pic or two up and see what you folks think...
Nice setup there. Just the tunes and not the heavy weightof a eglide. I wish I would have went that route with my king instead of trading it for a ultra.
I like it, Nothing like blasting down the road with the wind in your face and the tunes blaring in your ears. I don't think i could ride without tunes since having them. That would be like takingsome poniesout of the motor. [:'(]
Congrats on the the new fairing...and the discount...I guarantee you'll love it. Had mine for a while now, and still think it's the best addition i bought for my RK.
Bought my Deadcenter fairing about a month ago and love it. Tunes are nice and loud and easy to take off if you want to go without it. See my sig with the fairing on
Looks great, will love to see the pictures once you get it painted. I was thinking about adding a fairing, but went with apes instead. And the two together, is not a look I want on my rk custom.
