Just got my new American Custom slip-ons installed and have to say I'm impressed! Nice sound and you can't beat the price! After returning my OEM pipes back to them for a credit, I have the sound I wanted for under $300 shipped (and that's with endcaps, without you can get them for even cheaper).
I know there may be better pipes, mufflers etc out there (V&H, Reinharts, etc.) but for the price, these guys are hard to beat for the sound. Bike sounds better now, seems a bit more responsive and just feels like a Harley. Very pleased! Anyone looking for slip-ons, I'd highly recommend giving the guys at American Custom at least a look.
I'm running mine without baffles...
I've attached sound files of the OEM muffles and the new Bombers.
