Default Stranger stuff..

I was driving up Rt 19 in W.Va. Hit a hole in the asphault, not real deep, but edge was pretty square.. Bottomed out HARD!!! 5 miles down the road, my check engine light comes on.. 2 more miles, the Volt gauge is pegged, cruise does not work and 6th gear light does not work.. I stopped in the next town to eat lunch.. Called closest HD shop..told them I wanted to stop in and have it checked. he asked if I bought it there or was just passing thru.. Told him headed home.. said he MIGHT have time to check a fuse.. Came out from eating, voltage back to normal, 6th gear light works again, but no cruise..Stopped and got gas, and when I fired it up everything was working...Like I said.. Strange...

with any computer, shutting down and re-starting is often the cure for anomalies.

I'd set the bike in the driveway and smack the tires with a ball-bat...see if I can re-create the problem

go through and check cable connections for tightness, battery cables, ecm connector and other cables you can reach

and go from there

Better put a helmet on so that bat doesn't rebound and hit you in the head.
