Blue Tick.....your location says Tx, I know its a big state but you have one of the best tuners/engine builders in TX in Fort Worth. Good guys, if you call them up they can give you their take on things. www.gmrperformance.com
Thats my biggest hangup, the dealer wanting their $95/hr for labor. I can do it myself, no problem, I guess my hangup is the warranty, if a problem ever developed.
Well for what it's worth, they technically can't void the warranty just because you did the work yourself. They would have to show you did something improperly to void the warranty.

I understand that, I was going more under the premise of them saying the use of non-harley parts or parts not bought/installed thru them. Just playing devils advocate as to what most of y'alls experiences have been with this.

I had them install power duals on my 09. When the exhaust stud broke they claimed aftermarket parts were the cause. When I explained that they sold/installed the parts they stood behind it. They were going down that path at first though.
That being said I did not like two things about the power duals. #1 you loose ground clearance. I slid my bike on the header most than once. #2 is the heat shield in the cross over can rub on the incoming heatshields scratching the chrome. Once it does that you have a rust spot that looks like crap.
This time around I went with the fuel moto 2-1-2 header and cross over pipe.
