Default Can a too tight primary chain cause drivability problems?

I'm still chasing that wobble problem on my SG. I'm wondering if the primary chain could be the cause if it's too tight?
I took the bike to the dealer tonight and left it. Of course they will probably say all is normal.
Before I dropped it off I was looking at the back tire, there was some road dust on the thread it looked like the footprint was off center to the right. Is this possible?

No, that could not cause a wobble. Usually to tight of a primary chain will cause a whirring noise.

I'm not a mechanic, but, to answer your question: I don't think so.

My primary chain was tight. When I took my bike in for it's 1000 service (to my indy mechanic) he asked me if I had monkeyed around with my primary chain. I told him all that I had done was change the fluid, and asked him why he wanted to know. He said that the primary chain was "bearing-eating tight". That's how it came from the factory and it did not cause any driveability problems, like wobble. At least nothing that I noticed during the first 1000 miles.

As Tech2 said, the first time I checked mine it was also factory too tight. It should have about 5/8 to 3/4 inch flex, mine had 4/8.
