I have a ball mount similar to RollaMo on two of my bikes. Simple and not too ugly when not in use. I have the same type of handlebar mount on my Glide, but with the gps mount fastened directly to it. I got that from eglidegoodies, who have a wide range to browse.

The mount and the position is great
Thanks RK.

I normally have the TAPP-HD tucked in and hidden. It's only the USB cable that comes out under the bars. I exposed it for the pics.

The one pictured on the web site is panel mountable and a buddy mounted it on the side of the bar covers on his '11 RK. Only the waterproof cover sticks out. Not sure if they still have the model I have pictured (non-panel), but you can call 'em. They make them there.

RKZen - thanks for the clarification - can you post a picture of how you have it normally routed if you can - thanks
