My radio went dead a couple of days ago, I found the Radio MEM (memory) fuse had blown. I went to the dealer and they said that they had never heard of that fuse going before? They gave me a couple of spare fuses just in case it blew again.
Well it blew again; and again. Doesn't matter if the bike is running or sitting overnight in the garage. It doesn't go right away, seems to take about a day then BAM!
You have a ground problem somewhere. Have you made any upgrades/changes recently? Did you remove/install a seat recently? You can also have a wire chafed through vibration that it's grounding on the frame or other metal area. Don't blow another fuse. Spend time and trace the wiring with a meter.
BTW, what bike are we talking about here?

2006 Strret Glide. I've installed Cruise Control, Fog Lights with internal wiring at the engine guards (I tied into the seat heater ACC switch for the fogs).
I'm going through the schematics right now.
BTW I used to be an Aircraft Elelctrician in the Navy and then spent another 10 years as a Plane Captain on A6 Intruders Northrop Grumman(total of 18 years) I hope I still have the touch!
The bikes still under warrante take it back to the dealer let them fix it. Unless your like me take the fairing apart and let the fun begin. Good luck?
I have a really good dealership but don't like any one else wrenchin' on my bike unless it's completely out of my capabilities.
The fairing has been off this bike a bunch already...all three fairing support structures have failed at least twice? I keep getting new horizontal supports from dearler and made a MOD to the vertical support myself, never broke again.
I disconnected the radio and the fuse stopped blowing, gotta be the radio, this will be the third this bike has seen[sm=shootshoot.gif][sm=shootshoot.gif]
