gas doesn't go bad in 2 weeks....sounds like a vacuum issue as stated above. if you like the hyper thing then leave it on just check all your vacuum lines. popping at decal is a lean issue I am sure it has something to do with what you changed on the bike. actually sounds like too much air and not enough fuel....a tune may be in your future. do you have a fuel management system on the bike??? IE a race tuner or fuel moto pack or power commander or whatever?
Alright thanks for all the input guys, sounds like it might be a problem a little beyond my wrenching capabilities. I will be taking it in Friday and I will update with what the techs say. Thanks again fellas.
After "tinkering" on a bike and it starts to run chitty it is a good idea to revisit the "scene of the crime" just to see if you may have done something incorrectly.
If all looks well there, start looking elsewhere.
R U sure that your battery is fully charged and that both battery cables are clean and tight on both ends?
Bad fuel/water in the fuel is a possibility but since it was running good the last time you rode it seems an unlikely possibility, unless someone may have tampered with your bike.
As a last resort, a set of plugs couldn't hurt and they're not too expensive, before you take it to the shop.
Also might be bad gas. When is the last time you filled up and did you use a familiar station?

It certainly could be bad gas. Today's ethanol blended gas can begin to break down in as little as 30 days. So if you filled up at a station with low turnover and then the bike sat for 14-17 days, you may notice a few performance issues. Go ahead and add STA-BILŽ 360°™ Powersports and see if that does the trick.
Please let us know if you have any fuel related questions.
