You're on a road trip and aren't carrying an ample tool kit with you? Wow dude! There are kits that will almost completely break down the entire bike that don't take up hardly any room at all. Better do some more shopping when you get back home!
9/16" on my 2010 (I think... may be 5/8", but pretty sure it's 9/16" - same as 14mm).
Not to be funny, but a 14mm and a 9/16 are not the same. The 14 is a hair smaller and if you use a 9/16, you could round off the head, if it is very tight. Conversely, it can be tough to force a 14 onto a 9/16 bolt head.

Yeah, I know, but MOST of the sockets I've used are loose enough that they're interchangeable, and if you use a 6-point socket, it is VERY unlikely to round anything.
For the garage, I use only the correct sizes (2010 is still SAE, so 9/16"), but on the road, with no tools... either will do in a pinch to retighten a loose nut.

Yea, I know, but being an ASE master and an A&P, and used to build turbine engines, I'm a little **** about such things-- lol
