This looks like a nice idea, but i live in FL and got tired of removing my 95 lowers. it really didn't seem to make much difference. I now have an 06 and with the adjustable lowers don't think i need to remove them. It gets HOT and HUMID down here, but i can't tell any real difference when removing them.
I have them but havn't installed them yet. I'm not sure if I want to take the lowers off.
Thanks for the info.. I took mine off too help with the heat problem. Realize it is an air cooled engine, BUT the friggin heat is just toooooo much on my 07 UC. Removing the lower fairings, really helped. Yep the problem is still there, but not as bad. When I go on long trips, I will re-install.
I have the kit for my 02 Ultra and I love it. I can't say enough positive about them. It is nice for a long trip where you want to have the wind protection etc... but to be able to take them off when you get where you are going is great. The kit comes in handy for service as well. Makes it a lot easier to work on when you don't have to work so hard to remove the lowers.
Talked to them this afternoon via email and currently they don't offer discount to HD Forums members.
