started with an '07 ultra classic with SE Prostreet slip ons. used dynojet tune that was loaded on PV
changed to 4"jackpot slip ons with quiet baffle & PV with tune from PV.
Bike runs good, but I'm only getting 85-95 miles before fuel light comes on.
used to get at least 130-135 miles. any ideas?
Still going same mileage to & from work as before.
don't trust that fuel light, trust calculated fuel mileage... thats the best way to figure it out... my 2012 ultra varies between 38 and 43 depending on how i ride and if my wife is on the back... we don't do hardly any city riding, its mostly out in the country and mountains
that would mean much of your gas isn't being burned for power...you are piling up carbon deposits in the combustion chamber and exhaust, you are possibly getting raw gas into the oil.
and not making good power
revisit your "tune"
if you bought from fuel moto contact them for mapping advice
try your old tune- when you say " 4 inch" mufflers- that's the outside diameter...what counts is the internal passages the gasses go through
